In this first clip was early on in the project I created my first magic attack which was a fireball. we didnt have a map yet so we were just testing thing on an empty workspace.
Made the weather system framework. each island will have unique weather events that's change every so often. such as 1 island may have a 10% chance of rain and 90% chance of being clear and will change based off percentage. still needs lighting edits though. #roblox #RobloxDev pic.twitter.com/xClE6Pgigo

in this clip I was working on creating ways for player to navigate around. In the end I decided to create a system which utilized a map to help the player navigate between areas. when players were in these areas they would be affected by different weather systems. the map system is also how I loaded in client sided effects to help keep the game running smoothly.

Here I created water magic and started working on replication for all the magics so all the players could see eachother magic. I also started to impliment my anticheat measures here.
first real pvp battle in our game (we were in a party at first so no damage was taken whoops). Was really fun and felt good cant wait till we release!

here is a good example of the fighting mechanics in the game if you look carefully you can see the first NPC in back. They are spiders.
